Edison Cardinal is a freelance character artist and designer located in Edmonton AB, Canada. After receiving his BA degree in philosophy, Edison turned towards to 2D arts, taking a wild fascination with animated movies and fabricated worlds. He now sits in Edmonton Alberta with an Illustration diploma, working hard to realize his dream of working in pre-production for animated movies and video games. When Edison is not illustrating and story-writing, he is still creating music with his trusty electric guitar.

2D Asset creator for BearPaw Media's animation on bail and gladue reports.
I was responsible for working remotely with an art director. Based on scripts and storyboards, I created assets to be animated in the next phase of production.
This is the finished product.
Designer for interactive website icons. Once again through BearPaw Media, I created assets for a website to be published as a modular learning resource regarding the gladue report and other legal info. To the left is a quick example.
Lead designer music band: Turn The Corner (featuring yours truly on guitar). Passionate about branding and logo design, I love to implement bright colours and energetic shapes to my projects. I specialize in posters, social media posts, album covers, and promotional material of all shapes and sizes.
